Lead Change Through Strong Evironmental Leadership
Environmental leadership is becoming as essential to the future of our world as political and economic leadership. Spreading ecological principles and awareness in schools, museums, community settings, and among policymakers is one way to create a culture where environmental matters are better understood and acted upon. It's also critically important to be able to lead change with respect to traditional environmental topics such as pollution and sustainability - as well as issues of social justice, transportation, green construction, and urban development.
Lesley offers a Master's-level degree program in Ecological Teaching and Learning with the goal of creating experiential learning communities that inspire informed and compassionate ecological leadership.
Combining the skills and knowledge needed for effective environmental education and leadership, Lesley's Ecological Teaching and Learning program comprises both classroom and field work - students experience the environment and nourish their own passion for nature through intensive learning activities in urban and rural settings.
