Educating for Social Impact
What began as Lesley College, a teacher training school, is now Lesley University’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Located in the heart of Cambridge, Massachusetts since 1909, we've evolved from our roots in education. Today, undergraduate students come to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences to seek inventive answers to human problems. Our 25 majors share one purpose: to prepare graduates to make social impact. We cultivate the critical creative problem-solving skills that 21st-century careers demand.
It's an equation that begins with small, discussion-based classes led by passionate faculty. But it doesn't end there. Here, learning goes far beyond the classroom. It immerses students in real-world experiences. Experiences that foster original thinking, social justice, perseverance, and above all, solutions.
