Summer Housing Options
The Lesley University campus is located in urban Cambridge, Massachusetts. The residence halls, located in the campus quad area, are conveniently located to classrooms, various offices, the student center, dining facilities and Public Safety. The library is located on our historic Brattle Street Campus, a short ten minute walk from the quad campus. Many local shops, restaurants, supermarkets and T stops are conveniently located around our campus community. Summer housing is set in traditional-style residence halls as well as in Victorian houses. We welcome you and hope you enjoy your stay on our campus at Lesley University. Please read below for more information regarding accommodations, and other guidelines for your summer housing stay.
Accommodations
When you live on campus during the summer, you will be assigned to one of our traditional style residence halls or Victorian houses. Summer housing placement is based on availability. We will do our best to accommodate your special housing request in order to ensure that you have a pleasant stay during the summer. We regret that Lesley University does not match roommates during the summer sessions.
Residence hall amenities and what to bring:
Most buildings have coin-operated laundry facilities with shared community bathrooms. Not all residence halls are air-conditioned and there is limited availability of air-conditioned rooms. If air-conditioning is unavailable, we will automatically assign a room without air-conditioning and adjust the rate accordingly. Your room will be furnished with a standard twin size bed, dresser, and desk. Prior to your arrival, your bed will be set with a fitted and flat sheet, one pillow and one blanket. For your convenience, we will also provide two towels but please come prepared with extra towels, wash cloths, and your own personal care products as we do not provided toiletries. Also, an ethernet cable cord will be needed for internet access and will not be provided by the Office of Residence Life. There are a few convenience stores and pharmacies located within walking distance of campus.

Check-In and Check-out
When arriving to Lesley University, you must first check-in at the Summer Housing Office located at 9 Mellen Street to receive your keys and Lesley guest access I.D. card. In order to avoid any charges, keys and guest access I.D. card must be returned to the Summer Housing Office at check-out time. It is very important that you report any lost key or access card to the summer housing office immediately.
Check-in and Check-out times are listed below. If you are unable to check-in or out during these times, please contact our office 48 hours in advance to inform us. A charge will be accessed for extended stay beyond check-out times.
Check-in Office Hours:
- Monday-Friday from 1:00 P.M - 4:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M - 9:00 P.M.
- Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 A.M. - Noon and 5:30 P.M. - 8:30 P.M.
Check-out Office Hours:
- Monday-Friday from 9:00 A.M - 11:00 A.M
- Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 A.M. - Noon
If you have made arrangements with us to arrive on campus before or after these times, upon arrival, go to the Lesley University Public Safety Office, located across from 35 Mellen Street. A Public Safety Officer will contact a summer housing staff member to assist you.

Payment
The Office of Residence Life must receive payment for your entire stay prior to your arrival in order to make your reservation. Residence Life will accept payment in the form of checks, money orders, and credit cards. Plese make checks and money orders payable to Lesley University.
Refund Policy
Cancellations require written notification 20 days prior to arrival date in order to receive 50% refund. There will not be any refunds for cancellations after that time.
