Writing for Stage And Screen Alum Updates

Catherine O'Neill's play, The Fence, will premiere at the Boston Center for the Arts (BCA) in Deane Hall; running March 6th to March 21. 

Cassie Seinuk's play, From the Deep, will premiere at the Boston Center for the Arts (BCA) in Black Box Theater; running from March 12 to March 28. 

Robbi D'Allessandro's play, The Voices of We, will premiere at Boston Playwrights' Theatre; running from April 25 to May 9.

MFA Faculty's Play Part of Huntington Theater's 2014-15 Season

Faculty Ronan NooneMFA Writing Faculty Ronan Noone's play, The Second Girl, will be part of the Huntington Theater's 2014-15 season. With Eugene O'Neill's classic Long Day's Journey into Night as a backdrop, The Second Girl is set in the downstairs world of the Tyrone family kitchen in August 1912. Two Irish immigrant servant girls and the chauffeur search for love, success, and a sense of belonging in their new world in this lyrical and poignant world premiere. Read more.

MFA Alum's Play Wins Firehouse New Play Prize

Cassie M. Seinuk's ('13) thesis play FROM THE DEEP is the winner of the 2014 Firehouse Center of The Arts Pestalozzi New Play Prize. Included in the prize were readings at The Firehouse in Newburyport MA and at the Boston University Hillel.
