MFA Faculty's Play Part of Huntington Theater's 2014-15 Season

Faculty Ronan NooneMFA Writing Faculty Ronan Noone's play, The Second Girl, will be part of the Huntington Theater's 2014-15 season. With Eugene O'Neill's classic Long Day's Journey into Night as a backdrop, The Second Girl is set in the downstairs world of the Tyrone family kitchen in August 1912. Two Irish immigrant servant girls and the chauffeur search for love, success, and a sense of belonging in their new world in this lyrical and poignant world premiere. Read more.

Faculty Jami BrandliJami Brandli's play, Technicolor Life, has won a 2014 Global Age Project (GAP) Prize from The Aurora Theatre Company. The GAP prize is the company’s new works initiative that promotes the creation of forward-looking theater. Learn more.

MFA Alum's Play Wins Firehouse New Play Prize

Cassie M. Seinuk's ('13) thesis play FROM THE DEEP is the winner of the 2014 Firehouse Center of The Arts Pestalozzi New Play Prize. Included in the prize were readings at The Firehouse in Newburyport MA and at the Boston University Hillel.
