Joshua graduated from the University of Alabama with a PhD in Social Work. His practice and teaching interests include forensic social work, LGBT populations, rural health, and gerontology.

Areas of Academic Focus and Expertise: Forensic social work, social work practice with individuals and groups, and gerontology.
Area of Work and Concentration at Lesley: Teaching in the areas of research and development of general concepts of social work practice. In addition, Joshua will be developing a special topics course to be implemented in the Spring semester. Finally, he will be working with the faculty to explore the possibility of developing a social work program.
