Donna Owens is a graduate of Lesley’s PhD program in Expressive Therapies, where she also received her MA in 2004 in Expressive Therapies, Mental Health Counseling. She has an extensive history of work in youth development, gender-specific, and arts-integrated prevention programming.
Donna obtained her program evaluation knowledge working on research and demonstration projects during her tenure at the Institute for Community Research (ICR) in Hartford, Connecticut.
Donna is currently the Vice President of Administration at the United South End Settlements, in Boston, where she divides her time between performance management and outcomes measurement. Her experiences in data collection and management include Efforts to Outcomes (ETO), federal and state MIS systems, SPSS, Access, and a variety of qualitative data analysis methods and tools.
Donna’s areas of Interest include Multicultural Competency in the Creative Arts Therapies, Psalms as Spiritual Practice, and Outcomes Measurement.
