The registration form is due one week prior to the first class meeting of individual courses. Check the course schedule to determine individual course registration deadline dates, i.e., one week prior to the first class meeting. Early registration is strongly encouraged. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration ProcessRegistrations are considered on a first-come, first-served basis, unless the course has a specific prerequisite noted, and instructions. If a course is oversubscribed, a waiting list is established, and applicants are notified by telephone as soon as space becomes available. Lesley reserves the right to cancel under-enrolled courses with less than 10 students. Students are notified of cancellations as early as possible. Students will not receive formal confirmation of their registration. They will, however, be notified if a class is canceled.
Alumni DiscountUniversity alumni are entitled to a 10% reduction in tuition for any on-campus Seminar that has a full tuition rate. Alums should indicate on their registration form their Lesley University dates of attendance and program of study.
Dropping A Class/Refunds of Tuition and FeesStudents must notify Linda Harris in order to drop a course and request a refund. The following schedule is used to determine the portion of tuition which will be refunded depending upon the date of formally withdrawing from a course or from the University. The actual percentage will depend on the official date of formal withdrawal. The registration fee of $30 is nonrefundable.

For travel study courses, courses with six or fewer class meetings, and conferences there is a 100% refund prior to the start of classes. Once the class has begun, there is no refund.

Lesley University is a certified provider of Professional Development Programs for Massachusetts teacher re-certification. Earn Professional Development Points by enrolling in any of our college level courses or professional development seminars (PDP code 4-9001-999).
The student will be mailed a user name and password from the University Technology Department (UT). This is important information to keep. Notification of tuition bills will be sent to the students’ email address requesting that the student logs onto his/her LOIS (Lesley Online Information System) account. Lesley does not send paper bills. Tuition and fee charges can be paid online with an American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or VISA credit card. Checks should be made payable to Lesley University and include the student's full name and Lesley ID Number to ensure proper application to the student account. It is the students’ responsibility to ensure payments are made by the payment due date for each semester. Please allow at least ten business days for payments mailed to the university to avoid late payment fees.
Bills are due on the 15th of the month prior to the start date of your course. For the summer session which begins on July 8, tuition and fees are due June 15. The student will receive an ebill thirty days prior to the above due dates. If the registration is received after the above due dates, payment must be made in full via the students’ LOIS account prior to the start date of the course. Payments received after the due date will result in student account holds and late payment fees.

YOUR ATTENDANCE IS ASSUMED UNLESS YOU FORMALLY WITHDRAW IN WRITING. No exceptions will be made. For complete refund information, please visit Student Accounts. For weekend workshops and week-long intensives, no refunds will be given after the start date of the course.

The decision to cancel or reschedule Seminars due to serious weather is made and communicated to the television and radio stations by 6 am for day classes and by 2 pm for evening classes. The following local television and radio stations are notified: WBZ Channel 4, WCVB Channel 5, WHDH Channel 7, WBZ (1030 AM), WEEI (850 AM), WRKO (680 AM), WBCN (104.1 FM), WCRB (102.5 FM), WBMX (98.5 FM). Class cancellation information can also be obtained by calling 617.868.9600.

Students who want to transfer Lesley University credits to another college or university should check with their home institutions before registering.
