Summer Institute for Educators Involved with Assessment of ELL-SWDs

The Assessing English Language Learners with Disabilities 2015 Summer Institute  will be held on August 17-21 in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Faculty will be Dr. Maria B. Serpa of Lesley University and Dr. Claudia Rinaldi of Lasell College.

Learn to better identify and implement evaluation procedures for students with disabilities who are also English Language Learners. PDPs available. Limited to 25. Applications due by June 30.

Meet the Program Director

Laura Schall LeckreneLaura Schall-Leckrone is the program director for our ELL/TESOL programs. She has been a bilingual and Spanish teacher, and K-12 curriculum director in both urban and suburban public schools. Her teaching and research focus on preparing teachers to teach linguistically diverse youth, and pedagogy that promotes disciplinary and critical literacies. Read full profile »
