What do we do?

Our advisors provide comprehensive and collaborative academic advising using multiple modalities. Graduate students are encouraged, empowered, and educated to become self-directed learners and competent decision-makers. Best practices, current research, and student feedback inform the strategies and resources used to guide and support students' educational, career, and life goals. Student success is fostered in an inclusive environment that acknowledges individual and diverse needs, intellectual curiosity, and cultural awareness and encourages lifelong learning. In short, we help to guide and support you throughout your time at Lesley - please connect with us often!

Questions
How often should I meet with my academic advisor?

We recommend a formal advising check-in once a semester as a baseline, but don't be shy if you have a question.

What is the Advising Navigation Tool (ANT)?

ANT is a curated website designed to help Graduate Education students easily access resources and consider the next steps in their programs. Don't mind the cute ants—we love a theme!

Can I contact my advisor about anything?

Yes, absolutely! Please contact us about anything. We are not always the last stop but we will absolutely help you figure out next steps.
