Perseverance in Problem Solving
Led by Adam Deleidi, in this workshop participants will learn how to incorporate more of the Mathematical Practices into their classroom through the lens of problem solving. Participants will play the role of students in a constructivist classroom with ample opportunities to step out of that role to discuss strategies for implementation in their own classroom. It should be noted that the majority of the day will be spent solving rich problems at multiple grade levels with many more problems to be shared, so bring your flash drives!

Mathematical Practices through Geometry
Led by Katherine Richard, in this workshop participants will think about the connections between the mathematical practices and the content standards, with specific focus on the Geometry standards. Geometry is the one domain that spans grades K – 8. This will be an opportunity to look at the progression of the standards along with strategies for authentically incorporating the math practices in our classrooms.
