Lorraine Greenfield

Assistant Professor

Lorraine Greenfield

Lorraine brings over 30 years experience as a middle school English teacher and reading specialist, principal, and superintendent to her work. Currently she serves as a coordinator for the Lesley partnership with the New Bedford Public Schools, the Rising Tide Educational Initiative. Much as she has done for the past 10 years as the director of Lesley's Individually Designed M.Ed. program, she helps in-service teachers pursue their passion and focus on one or two topics that move them beyond their comfort level and into challenging areas where they become problem solvers.

"As a group, these graduate students are really interested in leadership. They take what they've learned in the program and try to inform their colleagues to help their schools grow and raise their performance.”

Lorraine also teaches pre-service students in the Elementary Education program through their practicum and seminar experiences.
