Technology for Teaching, Learning, and Research

Advise is the platform for faculty to create alerts for students in their classes. Advise alerts enable faculty to easily engage advisors and other support staff in a collaborative effort to promote student success at Lesley.

Ally is a tool within myLesley that creates alternative files that are easier to for all students to use. Ally gauges the accessibility of your content and provides tips and tricks for improvements to your content accessibility. Ally also automatically creates alternative versions of your files, allowing students to choose the type of file that best suits their needs. This includes HTML, ePub, electronic braille, and audio (MP3) versions of your files.

Blackboard Learn (myLesley) is Lesley University’s learning management system where instructors can upload the syllabus and course materials and students can interact in discussion forums, submit assignments and receive feedback on their work. Log in to mylesley now.

EndNote and EndNote Web have tools to search online resources, collect and organize references, manage bibliographies, format citations, and footnotes.

Kaltura Media allows users to record and share videos. It is integrated directly into myLesley to provide secure video content that is private to a course. 

LiveText MAP (My Assessment Portfolio) is the assessment tool where Graduate School of Education students create electronic portfolios, or ePortfolios, to reflect their learning throughout their course of study.

Self-Service is used to access administrative information via the web. Students can search and register for courses, see their course schedule and grades, and request transcripts. Faculty can view their course schedules and rosters and submit grades. Log in now at https://lesley.edu/selfservice

Microsoft Office 365 is a web and mobile-based version of Microsoft's suite of Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneDrive. Through Lesley, all active students are also eligible to download and install Microsoft Office on their personal computers and tablets. Log in to Office 365.

Microsoft Teams combines synchronous and asynchronous communication and collaboration in one tool. Have individual or group text conversations, share and collaborate on documents, and meet online in a video call. Log in to Office 365 to access or download Teams.

Qualtrics is the industry-leading provider of Online Survey Software. Qualtrics is available to all Lesley University faculty and staff. We can provide student access if it is required as part of a course or program. 

Tevera is the assessment tool where Counseling & Psychology students create electronic portfolios, or ePortfolios, to reflect their learning throughout their course of study.

VoiceThread allows faculty and students to have a conversation around a collection of shared media (images, videos, documents) or presentations. Conversations are not live, but take place whenever and wherever it’s convenient for people to participate. Log in to VoiceThread

Zoom is a video conference service and is available to all faculty, staff, and students. Log in to your Lesley Zoom account using Single Sign On (SSO).
