The new Massachusetts Arts Frameworks ask that we connect “the arts to the self, society, history, culture, and other disciplines and bodies of knowledge.” Join leaders and practitioners from across Massachusetts as they share their leadership models for designing arts integration programs in PreK-12 schools. 

Friday, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

  • Keynote: Jeffrey C. Riley, Massachusetts Commissioner of Education
  • Introduction to Arts Standards: Dawn Benski, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Arts Content Support Lead
  • Sessions with teachers, specialists, teaching artists, and administrators

Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • Keynote: Jamie Kasper, Director of the Arts Education Partnership, Washington DC
  • Panel discussion with leaders of professional arts organizations in visual art, media arts, music, dance, and theater
  • Sessions with teachers, specialists, teaching artists, and administrators
  • Collaborative work, planning, and networking
