Parking on the Lesley campus is very limited, so public transportation is highly encouraged. The Harvard Square T-stop on the MBTA Red Line is closest to South Campus and First Church.

Public parking is also available nearby in Harvard Square. Harvard Square Parking Garage, 20 Eliot Street, is the closest.

You may drop off guests at South Campus prior to parking. The drop-off location is at the intersection of 5 Phillips Place and St. John’s Road.

Parking in Harvard Square at 52 Oxford Street Garage

Guests will be able to purchase a parking permit for this event from the Harvard Online Parking Permit System. The fee is $20 per vehicle. Permits may be purchased two weeks in advance of May 20. When purchasing, choose "Other" from the dropdown in Reason for Visit.

The permit must be printed and presented to the Parking Services Monitor to receive an access card. The Permit will then need to be displayed on the dashboard of your vehicle while you park in the 52 Oxford Street Garage.

  • Where to Stay

Lesley offers a convenient guide on places to stay so you can find accommodations that suit your needs. Many local hotels are booked over the June 2 and 3 weekend, so you may have to look in Back Bay, Boston, which is right outside of the Cambridge area. Please make sure to plan accordingly.

All scheduled activities will be held across all three Lesley campuses (Doble, Porter Square, and South Campus). Locations are subject to change and will be held in multiple areas across campus.

LESLEY ALUMNI COUNCIL PRESENTS: THE MARY MINDESS BOOK DRIVE

Throughout the history of Lesley University, there have been professors who have touched the hearts, minds, and souls of Lesley students.  Mary Mindess, Professor Emerita was someone who not only made important contributions to Lesley but also tremendous impact on the Lesley alumni community. Mary’s impact and contribution included The New England Kindergarten Conference which she started in 1962.  This conference helped to put Lesley University on the map as a leader in Early Childhood Education.

In memory of Mary Mindess, the Lesley Alumni Council is sponsoring a book drive. If you are interested in donating to this initiative, please consider bringing Kindergarten through 2nd-grade books to Alumni Weekend, on June 2, and June 3. These books may be new or gently used.  A special bookplate will be placed inside each book in Mary's memory and then donated to Cambridge Elementary public schools.

Throughout the Alumni Weekend 2023, we will have bins at the registration table on Doble and South Campus, as well as at the Mary Mindess Tribute on June 3.

Some favorite Kindergarten books include:

Make Way for Ducklings
Corduroy
Arthur
Swimmy
Where the Wild Things Are
Madeline
The Nutcracker
Hawk, You are my Brother
Curious George
Peter and the Wolf
The Little Engine That Could
Tico
Just Ask
