There are several other ways to search a database. Each field of a record or citation in a database is searchable.

When you search by a field, the computer will "look" only in that field as it looks through all the records in the database. It will try to match your search term.

The subject field includes words and phrases that describe a topic precisely. Check the subject field for words and phrases to use in your searches.
