Faculty/Staff Phones
University Technology operates and maintains the voice communication systems for the University. We provide telephone desk sets, telephone service and voice mail for faculty and staff.
Request New Phone and Voicemail Services
Requests for new phone sets, voicemail boxes, or new long distance codes should be made in writing to phones@lesley.edu. If the equipment/services requested are for a new employee, the request must come from the employee's supervisor.
Long distance code requests must be copied to your department director.
General group numbers for departments will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Please email phones@lesley.edu.

Telephone Moves
If you are moving "informally" (Physical Plant is not coordinating the move for you), you need to let us know that you will be moving your phone from one jack to another. Send an email to phones@lesley.edu with the following information:
- your name
- your phone extension
- the date of your move
- your current office location (address and room number)
- the office location to which you will move (address and room number)
- your current phone jack number (number of the box your phone is plugged into on the wall) and, if you have access to it, the jack number you'll be moving to.
Support / Report Problems
To report a problem with a phone or for general assistance, email us at phones@lesley.edu.
Include the following information:
- your full name
- phone number at which you can be reached
- phone number of the phone at issue
- a description of the problem
If your phone is dead, please send an email to phones@lesley.edu and call 617.349.8990.
