borrowing for faculty & staff

The University Technology Lab provides Lesley faculty and staff on the Cambridge campus a place to preview software, or borrow other technology materials and peripherals.

Education Technology Preview Collection

eLearning & Instructional Support maintains the Educational Technology Collection, which is mainly reserved for preview use in the UT lab. For more information about the Educational Technology Collection visit the Preview Collection page. On that page you'll find a link that allows you to search the Educational Technology Collection online even before you visit the UT Lab.

Previewing Software

If you are interested in previewing software, you can visit the University Technology Lab, which is located on the 4th floor of the Library building. Remember your up-to-date Lesley University ID, because you will need it to access the lab. Once you have decided what software title that you are interested in previewing, ask the student working at the UT Lab desk to find the software for you. The student at the desk will keep your Lesley ID until you are finished previewing the software. You may preview only one software title at a time. However, you may borrow headphones for use while you preview the software if you don't have your own headphones.

Borrowing Software

If you would rather take materials home, there are also many circulating materials in the collection which may be checked out for one week. In order for you to borrow any reserve material, you must send an email to the Classroom & Labs Coordinator at ut@lesley.edu with your request. eLearning & Instructional Support also maintains a collection of materials designed only to support off-campus courses. For information on this collection, please contact the Assistant Director of University Technology or the Off-Campus Distribution Coordinator.
