If students are having academic difficulty,
Lesley faculty and staff can help them identify strategies to be more successful
in their courses. If they are having trouble in a particular course, it is
recommended that they meet with the individual faculty member. They may also
contact the Center for Academic Achievement for subject tutoring or general help
with organization and writing skills.
Sometimes students may require
academic support around issues related to physical or psychiatric disabilities;
in such cases, they should contact the Disabilities Services Coordinator, Laura Patey. Students requiring support
around LD/ADD/ADHD issues should contact Maureen Riley.
Students also
may experience academic difficulties as a result of issues in their personal
life. We have provided a list of additional Support Services for Students below,
including the Counseling Center, Health Services, and International Student
Services. We encourage students to visit or contact these offices as
appropriate, in addition to checking in with their academic advisors.
