You Belong Here
So much is in store for you at Lesley University! Now that you’ve been accepted, RSVP for our exclusive celebration for new undergraduate and Threshold students for either Saturday, March 23 or Saturday, April 27.

Experience college life in a supportive environment.

Gain the skills and confidence to work in a paid job, live on your own, and have an active social life. Our two-year core program prepares you for a range of careers, from hospitality and retail, to food service, early childhood care, office work, and more. Small classes mean you’ll get lots of personal attention, and internships get you ready for work after graduation.

Starting your first year, you’ll work in internships to get hands-on job training. From our location in Cambridge, Massachusetts, you’ll use public transportation to get to your internships and explore what our neighborhood has to offer.

Classes like personal finance and food lab prepare you for life after school. Specialized courses and internships prepare you for rewarding jobs. And, if you have a thirst for knowledge and are looking for a new challenge in your second year, you may choose to take an undergraduate class for credit or audit. Our staff will help you find something that works for your schedule and matches your interests, and you’ll be supported by our program and the Center for Academic Achievement.

You’ll get a certificate of completion and 6 college credits when you finish the core program. Then, celebrate your accomplishments at graduation with friends, family, and teachers.

Continue to learn and grow after graduation.

After graduation, you can continue to prepare for independent living in one of two optional programs—Transition Year or Bridge Year. And, you can start using the Threshold Alumni Center’s support services. No matter what path you take after graduation, our faculty and staff are here to offer support and encouragement.
