Students work toward increasing self-expression through creative writing and sharing their work in class. Each year, students in the writing classes produce "New Beginnings," a booklet featuring student work.
Threshold values the importance of students maintaining fitness in their adult lives. The physical education courses are designed to present opportunities for students to stay in shape in ways that are both appropriate and enjoyable. In the Individual Fitness course students receive instruction in using various fitness equipment. Included in their instruction is a workout sheet, which they maintain to show how their own fitness can and does improve.
