Career Profile of Education Graduates - 2015

Graduate 2014Of the respondents to a career profile survey following their graduation,* 97 percent of those available for employment were employed in a new or continuing position; 94 percent of those employed were working full time. Of those in new positions, 99 percent reported that their work is very or somewhat related to their career goals. On the perceived value of a Lesley degree, 90 percent of the 258 respondents rated the degree as valuable or very valuable (reported 7+ on a scale of 10).

Graduates were working in public and privates schools in 25 states and the District of Columbia. Positions included a variety of teacher positions in grades K-12, reading interventionist, behavior therapist, education coordinator, instructional technology specialist, math enrichment coordinator, Junior ROTC instructor, and reading and language arts curriculum leader.

*Lesley's Career Resource Center surveyed 822 graduates who completed their M.Ed., CAGS, or PhD programs from August 2014-May 2015, with an overall response rate of 56 percent.
