If unexpected circumstances are preventing you from starting your Lesley graduate program in the term you were admitted, you may request to defer your enrollment for up to 1 year.
- Submit a deferral of admission request. Use our online Deferral Request Form.
- In the request, state what unexpected circumstances or events have occurred that prevent you from starting your program in the term to which you were originally admitted. Be specific.
- The program director and the director of Graduate Admissions review your request.
- We’ll notify you within 10 business days from when you submit the form. If we approve the deferral prior to your submission of an enrollment deposit, you’ll need to pay the nonrefundable deposit fee to finalize the deferral.
The deferral of a scholarship offer is made at the discretion of the department.
