Linda Hunt-Brown

Linda Hunt-Brown, Ed.D., has been teaching for Lesley since 2001. She has served in the K-12 environment as school administrator for 10 years, where she has implemented use of technology into the districts in which she served as principal, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. She procured e-rate funding for these districts; instituted distant learning labs, special computer assisted learning programs, ergonomically appropriate computer labs and classrooms with work stations; created technology plans and acceptable use policies; and maintained and improved the districts' networks and computer hardware.

Currently focusing on the No Child Left Behind requirements to improve student achievement, Dr. Hunt Brown has been working with teachers on enhancing instruction and assessment through technology. She has served on both Nebraska's and Montana's state assessment task force committees. She also was a national instructor for Northwest Educational Association's MAP computer generated testing program and a trainer for interpreting the NWEA reports for teacher and district-wide assessment for school improvement.

Dr. Brown believes that technology is key in the success of students in the world workforce, and has no biases in sex, age, or ethnicity. This belief has lead her to work with Crow Indians at the Little Big Horn College in Montana, where she teaches technology, including programming, multimedia, and HTML.
