Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)Integrated Teaching and Learning Through STEMLesley University offers Master's degree programs in Integrated Teaching and Learning Through STEM that lead to Initial licensure. The programs encourage teachers to be deliberative, reflective STEM learners and more skilled assessors of their students' STEM knowledge, skills, and thinking. Incorporating research findings on how best to engage students with science, these programs integrate the teaching and learning of the STEM subjects by taking advantage of cross- and interdisciplinary connections as well as connections with other subject areas. The Generalist specialization is designed for candidates holding Massachusetts Initial licensure in Elementary Education (1-6), and the Instructional Technology specialization is designed for candidates holding Massachusetts Initial licensure in Instructional Technology (All Levels).
