TESOL and Bilingual Education
Master's Degree Programs

Lesley University, a national leader in teacher education, offers a Master's Degree Program in both TESOL and Bilingual Education leading to endorsement in New Mexico (other states forthcoming. These programs offer teachers new possibilities for professional growth and career advancement while fulfilling family and other professional responsibilities.

Mission of the TESOL and Bilingual Programs | To prepare competent, caring, inclusive, reflective, proactive, and highly qualified TESOL and Bilingual professional educators who make a difference in their students' lives.

Philosophy of the Programs | These programs are based on the philosophy that being proficient in two or more languages is an asset and an important priority for American education in a global world community. They are also based on the premise that every student is entitled to the most appropriate education with a highly qualified teacher.

The TESOL and Bilingual Master's Programs Prepare Teachers Who...

Program Delivery Model Benefits

  • Classes are offered at a nearby location in your state
  • Weekend format (Saturday and Sunday, 8 am - 5 pm) with an online component
  • Program completion in approximately 20 months, with classes one weekend per month
