leadership opportunities for residentsCOMMUNITY ADVISOR (CA)
COMMUNITY COUNCIL (CC)The Community Council is comprised of resident students who are encouraged to take leadership roles in their residence halls, and play an active role in shaping their residential environment. In addition, the Community Council works with the residents of the community to resolve some kinds of misconduct, including noise disputes, hall damage, pets, and misuse of housing facilities. Each Community Council functions as a mediative body. RESIDENCE LIFE ADVISORY BOARD (RLAB)Residents from each hall meet with the Associate Dean to discuss quality of life issues for resident students. They advise the Associate Dean and make recommendations for changes and improvements to residence life, in order to maintain a quality experience for students. STUDENT CONDUCT COMMITTEE (SCC)The Student Conduct Committee consists of resident undergraduates who review conduct cases referred by the Community Council and recommends resolution to the Dean of Students. Members of the SCC will meet on an as needed basis and will receive training designed to prepare students to serve on the Committee. updated 10/02/06 | 02:52 PM
