Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is used by the government to determine your eligibility for Federal assistance and authorizes Lesley University to disburse funds to you. We recommend that you apply on line by clicking on the above link. If you prefer to use a printed form, the FAFSA and other federal student aid publications are available from the U.S. Department of Education by calling (800) 4-FED-AID (800-433-3243).

When complete, submit your FAFSA directly to the federal processing center, as instructed. A Student Aid Report (SAR) will be sent to you after your application has been processed. The SAR gives you the opportunity to review the information provided on your FAFSA and to make any necessary corrections/changes. You do not need to return the SAR if the information presented is correct.

Note:If you complete the FAFSA online, the total processing time will be 2-4 weeks. If you complete a printed version of the FAFSA, total processing time will be 4-6 weeks.

Important: In order for your SAR information to be sent to us from the federal processing center, you must designate Lesley University as a recipient on the FAFSA. Our Title IV School Code: 002160.
