CAREER LIBRARies

Career LibraryThe Career Resource Center (CRC) manages and maintains two career libraries: The CRC Library and the Artists' Resource Collection.  Both libraries provided valuable information and resources to help you succeed in your career and employment endeavors.

The CRC web site also contains other important information such at Lesley Career Connection, the Career Web Sites Collection, and the Alumni Career Network.  Visit the CRC web page to access this additional information.

The CRC Library

The CRC Library is a research library and is located on the fourth floor of 23 Mellen Street on the Cambridge campus.  It contains books, videos, organization files, periodicals, binders, and handouts.  Most of the resources cannot be taken out from the library.  Only the books in the "Career Planning," "Career Options," and "Job Search" sections can be checked out by current, matriculated students.  All the handouts are free and can be taken out of the library.  There is a computer available for career-related Internet research. All matriculated students and alumni may use the CRC Library.

BOOKS
The library contains over 600 book titles in subjects of interest to the Lesley University community.  The collection emphasizes resources in the arts, education, human services, international services, and management. With such a large collection, there is something for everyone.

Check-out Procedure
Only books in the "Career Planning," "Career Options," and "Job Search" sections can be checked out by current, matriculated students in a Lesley degree program.  There is a limit of three books at any time per person.  Each book can be checked out for seven (7) days and renewed for another seven (7) days.  Students must present a valid Lesley University ID to check out books.  To renew, students may telephone or visit the CRC.  Books must be returned during regular business hours only in satisfactory condition.  Students will receive a reminder telephone call two business days before the due date of their books.  Fourteen (14) days after the due date of their books, the CRC will bill the student for the book.  Please speak to a CRC staff person for additional policies.
