Dean's Merit Scholarship
Newly enrolling students demonstrating
exceptional merit may receive a $3,600 award for up to two years of

Timocracy Foundation Scholarship
The Timocracy Foundation seeks to honor individuals who "do good for the sake of doing good" and do not typically seek recognition for their acts of goodness. Kimberly Orefice Turner, a 2007 graduate of the Graduate School of Education, has established a scholarship fund through the Timocracy Foundation. Scholarships of $5,000 will be awarded to two GSOE graduate students enrolled before September 1, 2012 in one of the following Massachusetts Initial Licensure programs:
• Early Childhood
• Elementary
• Early Childhood or Elementary and Creative Arts in Learning
• Elementary and Specialist Teacher in Reading
• Elementary and Moderate Disabilities PreK-8
• Elementary Education and English as a Second Language
• Early Childhood or Elementary Collaborative Internship programs

Anne Larkin Scholarship
This scholarship, in the amount of $2,000, will be awarded for summer 2013 to a qualified newly-accepted on-campus student in a Special Education Master's degree program in the Graduate School of Education. Elementary Education Urban Initiative (EEUI) Scholarships
Individuals committed to teaching elementary, language minority students, and English language learners in urban settings may apply to be a Graduate School of Education EEUI Scholar, and receive a $5,000 scholarship, which will be awarded in two equal distributions of $2,500 each. Graduate students who are accepted into and enroll in the Elementary Education Urban Initiative, a 15-month Master of Education program leading to initial licensure in elementary education, are eligible to apply. Constance and Lewis Counts Scholarship
This $3,000 scholarship will be awarded for spring/summer 2013 to a student who is a graduate of the Adult Baccalaureate program and is pursuing a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education in the Graduate School of Education.
