Funding ResourcesThere are many funding resources available. Below are a number of links to funding databases, government agencies and other organizations that members of the Lesley community can search themselves. Grants.gov allows organizations to electronically find and apply for competitive grant opportunities from all federal agencies. Grant.gov is the single access for over 1,000 grant programs. Although only the Grants Officer is authorized to electronically send grants via grants.gov, anyone can search the site for opportunities and download grant applications. Funding DatabasesGrants Resource Center(GRC)Lesley University has a membership with the Grants Resource Center in Washington, DC. This organization maintains a database of public and private funding opportunities relevant to institutions of higher education. Members of the Lesley community can search this database for funding programs that match their research interests. Please email the Grants Officer to obtain the password that will give you access to this site. Associated Grantmakers of Massachusetts (AGM)Associated Grantmakers of Massachusetts lists information and links to Web sites for many private, corporate, and community foundations that grant money in Massachusetts. Based in Boston, AGM maintains a public library and subscription database of grantmakers from all over Massachusetts and other parts of New England. It offers proposal writing workshops throughout the state as well as frequent "Meet the Donor" sessions featuring representatives from foundations. City of Boston Mayor's Office of Intergovernmental Relations Funding $ UpdateThe weekly Funding Update is a listing of funding opportunities, recent grant awards, announcements, and news from local, state, federal and private sources. The Update is free and available by email. Fundsnet Online ServicesOffers a comprehensive directory of foundations and funders on the World Wide Web. Fundsnet has a particular focus on sources of support for education. The Foundation Center OnlineIncludes help in locating and writing applications to foundations.
