Promotion Deadlines

Candidate requesting a waiver from the Provost must send a complete application box to Provost and Dean October 26, 2007
Submit application to Academic Supervisor and School Dean November 30, 2007
Academic Supervisor recommendation to School Dean December 14, 2007
Formal recommendation from School Dean to Provost January 11, 2008
Candidate delivers application/box to Provost; Rank & Promotion Committee begin evaluation process January 16, 2008
Committee recommendation to the Provost; Committee informs candidate of recommendation March 3, 2008
Candidates not recommended will meet with the Presentation team(required for Assistant or Associate candidates; optional for Full Professor candidates) March 10, 2008
Faculty Appeals Procedure must be completed March 17, 2008
Provost makes recommendation to the Academic Affairs Committee of the Board of Trustees; Action by the Academic Affairs Committee of the Board of Trustees April 9, 2008
Action by the Board of Trustees May 14, 2008
Provost informs candidate of action by Board of Trustees May, 2008
