* 'I' folowed by a grade signifies a prior incomplete which has subsequently beed graded (Lesley College, Fall 1996-forward; AIB, Fa;; 2003-forward). Grade point scale above applies.

  • AW = Administrative Withdrawl*
  • NA = Never Attended
  • NG = Grade Not Submitted
  • SIP = Course in Progress
  • TF = Technical Failure (did not drop officially)**
  • TR = Transfer Credit
  • TX = Waiver
  • W = Withdrawal

**TF grades effective prior to and including Summer 2004; phased out as of Fall 2004.

***Last grade earned is official. When a student repeats a course in order to improve the grade earned, while the grade of the first course will appear on the transcript, only the second grade will be used in computing the cumulative average, except an "F".

Key to the Transcript

  • Degrees: Associate, Bachelor, Master, Doctor of Philosophy.
  • Unit of Credit: Semester Credit Hour
  • Course Numbering: Only students who have been awarded an undergraduate degree are eligible to earn graduate credit.

Courses primarily for graduate level students but also
open to upper division undergraduate level students

Graduate level courses - Master/C.A.G.S.

Prior to 1986, course numbering was:

Undergraduate level

Course work in Ph.D. program began Fall 1987.

Experiential Learning Credit

Experiential learning credit is awarded for learning gained outside of the classroom. The student’s portfolio is evaluated by faculty readers representing a cross-section of faculty expertise in a variety of academic disciplines.

Inter-State Certification Compact

A statement is printed on all transcripts of students who have finished teacher-education programs. It indicates completion of a training program approved by ICC-NASDTEC.

Official Transcripts

An official transcript is printed on secure paper, and is valid only when it bears the raised Lesley University Seal and the Registrar’s signature. Copies issued to students will be stamped "Official Copy - Issued to Student." Further authentication may be obtained by calling the Registrar’s Office at (617) 349-8740.
