Credit Loads

A standard academic guideline for determining course load is one credit per week. Therefore, the maximum credit load per semester is as follows:

  • Summer: 10 credits or less
  • Fall or spring: 15 credits or less
  • January: 4 credits or less

Students should consult their school/program to check program-specific academic guidelines regarding course load.
