Day Parking for Commuting Students
All undergraduate students who commute may request a commuter parking permit, available fall and spring terms. The University has a limited number of spaces for student parking during the day and permits will be awarded based upon the distance of the student's commute, availability of public transportation and class schedule. To register for a chance to obtain an undergraduate parking space, the following steps must be completed:
- Download, print and complete an application form.
- Attach a copy of your class schedule.
- Go to the Permit Store and complete a permit registration (see instructions under New Applications below). You will not be charged unless you are approved for a permit.
- By 5 PM of the 5th business days after classes start drop off your completed application and class schedule to William Eve or Nicole O’Leary at 33 ½ Mellen St. Late applications or applications dropped at other locations will not be considered.
A list of approved commuter parking students will be posted in the Public Safety Office located on the Doble Campus.
Subject to change without notice, the Fall Undergrad Commuter Permit is $186.95 and the Spring Permit is $193.95.
Night Parking for Students
All graduate and adult baccalaureate students are eligible for night/weekend parking permits during the semester for which they are registered. Night permits allow students the right to park in any open space on Doble Campus (excluding lot B) after 3:30 PM on weekdays. There is no student parking in Porter Square or the Boston campus at any time. Possession of a Lesley parking permit does not guarantee a parking space will be available. Students with night/weekend permits may park on the main campus on weekends as space permits.
Night parking permits must be purchased on a semester basis and are non-refundable. You may pay either by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover) or by electronic check, and the full amount of the semester permit will be charged at the time of the transaction. All transactions are encrypted and secure and applicant information is kept strictly confidential.
New Applications
To register for and purchase your parking permit go to the web site developed for the University, the Permit Store.
Registration
As part of the registration process, you will be asked for your mailing address, vehicle make, year and license number, permit type, and payment information. For your security and protection, you will be asked to provide your student identification number at the beginning of the process. Your student identification number can be found on your registration confirmation.
Permit Delivery and Activation
Whether you are an approved undergraduate commuter or night parking student, your permit will be authorized at the Permit Store. You will then be charged and the permit mailed to the address you entered at the Permit Store, arriving within 7 - 10 days. Please note that the address you select on the Permit Store will be the address that you supply, not necessarily the "address of record" by the University. In order to confirm the receipt of your permit, you must return to the Permit Store for activation.
