Student Resources

Below are several downloadable resources to assist you in your Lesley courses. While the tools will vary from course to course, the items listed are the most commonly used technology tools by Lesley professors. If you have questions on what technology is being used for a course, please contact your professor directly.

For assistance with myLesley, including training and technical issues, please contact the myLesley support center at 1.888.mylesley (1.888.695.3753) or click on the "help" icon located at the top of the page in myLesley.

Any questions regarding content within a course should be directed to your instructor.

  • myLesley Quick Start Guide for Students [pdf]
    A quick start PDF guide on some of the most commonly used tools in myLesley (note: tool use may vary from course to course, contact your professor for the specific features being used in each course).
  • Creating a Student Homepage [pdf]
    Some courses may require you to use the homepage tool to create a profile of yourself for your classmates. This tutorial will take you through the steps to create and post your profile. To learn how to create a profile picture, view the "Creating a Profile Picture using Picnik" under the Web 2.0 Tools section below.
  • myLesley 101 for Students
    A self-paced online course on the basics of myLesley, available at any time while logged on in myLesley. You can access the course in myLesley by clicking on the "my services" tab, and then clicking "myLesley 101 for Students."

    Step-by-step instructions on how to save a Word document as a PDF file:

  • Atomic Learning [pdf]
    Atomic Learning provides short 1 to 3 minute video tutorials on over 110 of the most commonly used software applications. The Atomic Learning website can be accessed under the "my services" tab in myLesley, under the "Services Info Bulletin for Students" module.
