This program prepares students to successfully lead private, public, and not-for-profit organizations. Students learn skills critical to managing effectively and efficiently, while also developing the ability to provide ethical and creative leadership in any organization, whatever its size or purpose. The program addresses the challenges managers face in today’s dynamic and multicultural workplace. Participants learn how to work and adapt to individual needs, while also promoting collaboration to achieve organizational goals.
Students will find interactive assignments and content taken from today’s business pages, linking theory to practice. Competencies stressed include communication, innovative problem-solving, and the use of technology, as well as an understanding of the social and psychological factors that influence professional development and organizational success. A wholly online program, classes are primarily asynchronous, so time zones and personal schedules should not interfere with class participation. Participants become part of a community of learners sharing their experiences and expertise.
