Lesley University | Master's of Science in Ecological Leadership And EDUCATION

Audubon Expedition Institute

AEI at Lesley offers a Master of Science in Ecological Leadership and Education. The program is career-oriented, and involves travel and experiential learning. Students travel throughout the United States earning academic credit and gaining first-hand experience of environmental issues.

One region is covered per semester and specific regions often vary from year to year. The nine sample routes shown here represent possible fall and spring semesters for four individual learning communities.

Sample routes include:

  • Canadian Maritime/New England
  • Four Corners
  • Great Lakes
  • Gulf of Mexico
  • Mountain Plains
  • Pacific Coast
  • Pacific Northwest
  • Rio Grande
  • Southern Appalachian
In addition, Lesley offers a Master of Science in Ecological Teaching and Learning for educators working in schools, museums, nature centers, and other alternative teaching centers.
