Art Education Programs

The Teacher of Visual Art program at Lesley prepares you to utilize your art education and creative abilities to capture the attention of students and encourage thoughtful investigation and learning. The curriculum includes theories of learning that exemplify the most current research in the fields of art and education, including visual culture, new media, art history, multicultural education, special education, and child development. Programs can lead to Initial or Professional Licensure in Massachusetts.
