With a Residency Certificate in Elementary Education
Degree Overview
Tacoma Community College (TCC) and Lesley University have developed an exciting program for students to be able to complete their baccalaureate degrees and the requirements for a residency certificate in Elementary Education. Those with associate's degrees who also meet specific arts and sciences prerequisites, as well as other requirements, are eligible to apply to the program. Lesley will deliver classes on site at TCC, and student teaching opportunities will be offered in the Pierce County area.
You need to earn 120 semester hours (160 quarter hours) to receive a Bachelor's degree from Lesley. You must complete 54 semester hours (72 quarter hours) from Lesley, and you can transfer up to 66 semester hours (88 quarter hours) into the program. Students take the Lesley courses in a cohort. Courses in each cohort follow a pre-determined sequence, to be completed in six (6) consecutive semesters of study, over 22 to 24 months.
