You Belong Here
So much is in store for you at Lesley University! Now that you’ve been accepted, RSVP for our exclusive celebration for new undergraduate and Threshold students for Saturday, April 27.

Start your master's degree as a Global Studies undergrad.

Become an effective leader in international and domestic social justice contexts. Gain the expertise to analyze social and cultural phenomena. Discover how to facilitate partnerships at different levels in higher education. These are the skills you'll focus on in our accelerated program that combines the curriculum of the undergraduate Global Studies major with the master's degree program in International Higher Education.

As part of your Global Studies bachelor's degree, you'll explore political science, economics, sociology, geography, and anthropology, among other topis. Pursue study abroad opportunities and internships in diverse settings.

Build upon that foundation by continuing through to our master's degree program. Learn how to promote engagement and understanding across cultures and groups of people within higher education settings. Prepare for a career where you can help college and university students develop a global perspective and navigate different environments. You'll also discover ways to facilitate student learning and growth through international experiences.

Earn two degrees and get ready to put your skills to work in colleges and universities in the US or abroad.

How It Works

Our MA in International Higher Education is a 33-credit program. By completing some graduate credits as an undergraduate student, you'll save both time and money.

  • Take 9 graduate credits in your junior and senior year, included in your undergraduate tuition.
  • Finish the 24 remaining graduate credits after senior year, at the graduate tuition rate.
  • Complete both degrees in about 5 years of full-time study. This is one semester faster than if you entered Lesley as a graduate student.
  • Save an additional $12,600 (12 free graduate credits) with the Lesley Dividend award for a total of 63% off your graduate tuition.
  • Because this is an accelerated master's program, you'll receive your BA in Global Studies once you have completed the requirements for the undergraduate major, and you'll receive your MA in International Higher Education once you have completed the requirements for the master's program.
