




CHARITIES DRIVE EXCEEDS GOALThe results of the 1996 Charities Drive are in, with this year's collection coming in at more than $12,400, a 5.6 percent increase over last year's total. The money raised during the annual Drive goes to support the work of Community Works and the United Way of Massachusetts Bay.
In December, charities donors were chosen at random to receive the prizes offered as incentives for the Drive. Following is an abbreviated list of prizes, prize sponsors and prize winners:
