Celebrating Lesley's achievements in 2017

A look back at top news of the year

Four pictures from the year: students at graduation, President Weiss at the podium during his inauguration, students hold the new Lesley flag they designed and a closeup of Tally the therapy dog.

Lesley had an eventful and newsworthy 2017 — from our faculty, students and alumni to the university overall!

For his inauguration, President Jeff Weiss received a warm reception on a wintry day. Alumna Sydney Chaffee became the National Teacher of the Year, a first for a Massachusetts teacher, and student Jesse Sparks' inspirational story went viral.

We've rounded up 10 of our top stories to give you on overview of the amazing people and events we've highlighted in the Lesley community this year.
