The Boston Marathon bombings will continue to impact our community in the days and weeks ahead, and it is important to take a moment to honor and support the individuals and families who have lost loved ones.

Stories have emerged about runners, onlookers, and first responders who were injured and /or suffered trauma. We are aware of one alumna and one student with direct connections to Lesley who were near the finish line and were injured. Out of respect for their privacy we will not share the details of their stories at this time, but we want to support them, as well as all of the individuals and families in need of assistance as a result of this tragedy.
Many of you are aware that a fund has been established, the One Fund Boston, at onefundboston.org. Lesley has made a contribution to this fund to support all of the individuals and families who need our assistance. We encourage all members of our community who may have the ability and the inclination to make a contribution to this fund or the fund of your choice.
Thank you, again, to our students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends for your support last week and for the grace you have demonstrated under such duress.
