The Literature minor invites you to engage with ideas about the self and world held by some of the most compelling artists in human history.
Immerse yourself in ancient worlds, lose yourself in epic stories, and expand your understanding and appreciation of literature. Courses offered include World Literature from the Ancient World to the Renaissance, as well as the from the 17th Century to the Present Day.

Students explore the literature, art, theatre, architecture and history of the city of London both through classroom meetings and a week spent in the city.
Students read the work of a major author in the literary tradition as well as contemporary works that show the influence of that author. In spring 2013 the focus will be the works of the epic poet Homer.
