All students participate in numerous groups and individual critiques and discussions during the residencies. Students bring their actual work to he residency for these sessions so that the details of the work can be thoughtfully considered. Students present their work in a range of formats, including video, performance, and digital media. The goal of critiques is to give each student an opportunity to hear what his or her work communicates to others. Each student also meets individually with several faculty and several members of the graduating class for personal one-on-one discussions of the student's work.
