Services
RESERVES
Reserves are course materials (books, articles, etc.) placed on specific loan
periods by faculty each semester. Course Reserves are searched by Faculty Name,
Department, or Course on the Library FLO Catalog – Course Reserve tab.
IN-LIBRARY: Reserve materials held at the main Circulation Desks can circulate
for 2 hours, in-house only; for 24 hours, 48 hours, or one week. Borrowers
present their current Lesley ID to the Circulation Staff to borrow material.
Reserve materials are loaned two at a time.
ELECTRONIC: Journal articles are accessed online through MyLesley – MyLibrary
tab – FLO Catalog – Course Reserve tab. Restricted to Lesley students
only.
Materials from the Libraries’ main collections (including books, juvenile
books, and journal articles) are handled through the Technical
Services Department at Ludcke or the Circulation Desk at AIB. Videos and other
media
are handled at the Kresge Center for Teaching Resources, located on the second
floor of the library at Ludcke or at the Circulation Desk at AIB.
Placing materials on Reserve
Depending on your needs, please fill out either an Article
Chapter Form (pdf) / (word),
or a Book Form
(pdf) / (word) (or
both). These can be downloaded in pdf or Microsoft Word or picked up at the
Circulation Desks. Submit completed forms in person at
the Circulation Desks, by campus mail (Attention: Library Reserves), or email
Dianne Brown,
dbrown7@lesley.edu for Ludcke Library;
Raye Yankauskas, ryankaus@lesley.edu,
for AIB requests. For media requests, please contact Robyn Ferrero rferrero@lesley.edu in
the Kresge Center.
Library staff will process Reserve requests in the order in which they are
received. At peak periods please allow two week for processing.
