Borrowing Materials
Borrow books, videos, and teaching resources at Sherrill and AIB libraries. Check out media equipment from the Kresge Library Media Center. Bring your Lesley ID to either Sherrill or AIB to set up your library account.
Course Reserves
Faculty place materials on reserve at the Circulation Desks for you to borrow for short-term use, enabling more people to share a necessary title. Some course readings are available online as e-reserves. For details, see the Reserves Guide.
Interlibrary Loan
If you need a book, book chapter, article or video that the library does not own, request a copy through Interlibrary Loan.
Research Help
If you need help narrowing your topic, searching for articles or books, or formatting your citations, ask for reference help at either the Sherrill or AIB library, or Ask-A-Librarian.
Library Liaison Program
Librarians collaborate with faculty to support the library collections and research needs of each academic department across the university. The library staff welcomes faculty suggestions for additions to the collections. Contact your Library Liaison for more information.
Library Instruction
Library staff members teach students how to find and evaluate resources for creative projects and course assignments. Sessions are tailored to the individual course or program and may feature media literacy, visual literacy or information literacy. Contact an instruction librarian for more information.
