Psychological and Educational Test Collection
Psychological and Educational Test Collection
The Test collection is a closed reserve, non-circulating collection
of educational and psychological assessment tools. This collection is available
only to members of the Lesley University Community. The purpose of the collection
is to provide qualified persons with examples of standardized tests and other
assessment tools for examination and study.
Qualified persons are Lesley University faculty members whose teaching or
research require the use of these materials, or Lesley University students
who are working under the supervision of a Lesley faculty member.
Information about the development and use of a particular test will be found
in the main library collections.
Reference supports for this collection include works that provide critiques
and descriptions of assessments instruments in the fields of education, management,
counseling and psychology. Resources include dictionaries, handbooks, yearbooks,
bibliographies, and indexes to test reviews, as well as a collection of publisher's
catalogs.
Tests do not circulate; they are available to qualified Lesley students for
review in the library only. Alumni working under the supervision of a Lesley
University faculty member may be granted access to specific titles. Lesley
faculty members may borrow tests, for class demonstration over a four hour
period.
Access To The Test Collection
- Tests do not circulate.
- Qualified Lesley
University students, enrolled in assessment classes or under the supervision
of a member of the Lesley University
faculty, may review tests in the Teaching Resources Center only.
- Faculty may borrow a test for a four-hour period for classroom demonstration.
