The Art Institute of Boston Library

The Art Institute of Boston (AIB) maintains a focused library collection, specializing in the fields of fine arts, art history, illustration, design, and photography.

Along with a circulating book collection of 11,000 volumes, the library also offers a concise journal collection, a vertical file consisting of exhibition catalogs and pamphlets on art related topics, a picture file of hundreds of photographs, a growing digital image collection and a small videotape collection. The AIB Library also participates in both Fenway Libraries Online and the Fenway Library Consortium.
