Lesley University LibrariesEleanor DeWolfe Ludcke LibraryRenovated in 1992, the Library was renamed in honor of Eleanor DeWolfe Ludcke, Class of 1929. Ludcke Library houses over 100,000 titles, 700 print journal subscriptions, and offers a growing list of electronic resources. The collections of the library are strong in all curricular areas, with an emphasis on education, psychology, human services, management, and expressive arts therapies. The Kresge Center for Teaching Resources houses the library's media materials as well as a unique collection of teaching resource materials and an excellent juvenile literature collection. Ludcke Library is a member of the Fenway Library Consortium (FLC), a cooperating group of 14 libraries which allow students and faculty access to one another's collections. Ludcke Library also participates in Fenway Libraries Online (FLO), a subgroup of the Fenway Library Consortium which allows library users to check a union catalog of the holdings of 9 of these libraries.
The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley UniversityThe Art Institute of Boston (AIB) maintains a focused library collection, specializing in the fields of fine arts, art history, illustration, design, and photography. Along with a circulating book collection of 9,000 volumes, the library also offers a concise journal collection, a vertical file consisting of exhibition catalogs and pamphlets on art related topics, a picture file of hundreds of photographs, and a small videotape collection. The AIB Library also participates in both Fenway Libraries Online and the Fenway Library Consortium.
